My Very First Talk

I still remember the thrill of getting ready for church one Sunday morning when I was about five years old.  I had been asked to give a talk in Primary.  I was so excited and wasn’t scared at all.  This is the poem I had memorized as my talk.

Thank you for the world so sweet,
Thank you for the food we eat,
Thank you for the birds that sing,
Thank you, God for everything!
